1. Agreement to These Terms
By using The Color Card website, tools, member area, resources, or by purchasing access, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.

2. What The Color Card Provides
The Color Card is a registered business and digital resource/tool brand for the needlepoint community. It provides low-cost digital tools, guides, and resources to help stitchers compare thread colors, plan projects, and make more confident project decisions. The website may include public pages, blog or library resources, a newsletter, member-only tools, paid access, and optional support links.

3. Reference Tool Disclaimer
Thread matches, conversions, color suggestions, and estimates are practical reference points only. They are not official manufacturer guarantees. Colors may vary by dye lot, lighting, screen display, fiber texture, canvas paint, photography, and personal preference. When exact matching matters, users should compare final selections in person. The Color Card does not replace advice from designers, local needlepoint shops, thread manufacturers, or professional finishers.

4. Accounts and Member Access
If you create an account or purchase access, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Access is for the purchaser or account holder only. You may not share login credentials, resell access, or publicly redistribute member-only tools or content.

5. Paid Access and Plan Changes
Paid access gives you use of the tools and resources included in the plan you purchased. Access terms may vary by plan. Pricing, included features, and access terms may change going forward. Future tools or features are not guaranteed unless we clearly say otherwise.

6. Intellectual Property
The website, tools, copy, design, datasets created by The Color Card, calculators, layouts, graphics, and resources belong to The Color Card or its licensors. You may use outputs for your own personal project planning, but you may not copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or reproduce the tools, datasets, or content without permission.

7. User Feedback and Submissions
You may send feedback, feature requests, tool ideas, issue reports, or support messages. By sending us suggestions, you allow The Color Card to use those ideas to improve products and tools without compensation or any obligation to give you ownership. Please do not submit confidential information that you do not want used for product improvement.

8. Optional Support Payments
“Buy Me a Skein of Thread” or similar links are optional business support payments. They are not purchases, memberships, subscriptions, charitable donations, or tax-deductible contributions. They do not provide access to paid tools and do not guarantee future features unless we expressly say so.

9. Affiliate and Partner Links
The site may include affiliate, referral, or partner links. If you click those links or make a qualifying purchase, The Color Card may earn compensation. These relationships do not change the price you pay unless we say so.

10. Prohibited Uses
You may not scrape, copy, or automate extraction of the site or tools. You may not reverse engineer the tools, share member credentials, misuse the tools, use the site unlawfully, bypass access controls, or upload malicious code through forms or other inputs.

11. Tool Availability
We aim to keep our tools available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, outages, third-party service issues, or updates may affect availability from time to time.

12. Billing and Refunds
Refunds, billing questions, cancellations, and plan changes are handled under our Refund and Billing Policy.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Color Card is not responsible for project costs, thread purchases, color mismatch, material choices, lost data, or indirect damages that result from relying on tool outputs or site content. The tools are meant to help with planning, not to guarantee final project outcomes.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated version on this page. Continued use of The Color Card after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
